About Me
Humans are tenacious, hardworking creatures. It’s in our nature. We were never designed to sit still and be idle. We are social animals, part of a community. And as such we all have our roles to play in the greater web of society. Mine is passion. Passion for creation. I direct, I write. I make music. The joy I get from bringing something new into this world of ours is an experience difficult for me to convey. The only way I could is through, well, art.
Above all, I’m fascinated with the idea of reality. This life of ours, it’s strange. Nigh-impossible to comprehend. I look at the things around me, and still, I can’t help but feel like Alice, lost in a world where the bizarre has been made the norm, and the people far from normal. What else is a man to do but create? Maybe by sharing my art, I can find common ground. And eventually, understand it all just a little bit better.
Thus, I make my own realities. My own worlds, with their own rules, their own logic. Dark, scientific fantasies. Lands of eternal spring and snow. Mechanical underworlds and apocalyptic oceans. Nothing I write or draw could be more confusing than what we live through every day, but I’m still willing to try. That’s my role. And it’s a role I’ll keep doing with whatever time I have left. Before I move on to the next strange world waiting for me.
